Sale not to be conducted before 8 a.m. nor after 9 p.m. Items for sale may be displayed one hour before starting and items not sold shall be removed or moved indoors before 11 p.m. on the day of the sale. Nothing shall be displayed on the sidewalk or roadway. No loud speakers, music or undue noise is permitted.
Permits will be issued for not more than two days within any one calendar year. A Single permit may be issued for two successive sale days.
All signs advertising the sale must have the address of the sale and may be displayed at locations other than the place of sale, if applicant has the location owner’s permission. Signs shall not be displayed more than 5 days prior to the sale, and shall not exceed 2’x 3’ in size and shall be removed no later than one day following the sale.
SIGNS SHALL NOT BE PUT ON UTILITY POLES, TRAFFIC CONTROL OR STREET SIGN POSTS OR POLES!
No personal property of any kind shall be offered for sale other than that which has been owned by the applicant and members of his or her immediate family for a period of at least 6 months prior to said sale.
Stop by the Township Administration Office on Ogontz Street to obtain the required permit and rules regarding signs, noise and time limits.
